 THE PROJECT

Message from the Founder...

The Yvonne Thomas Foundation was founded June 2017 by Yvonne Thomas and was built to inspire, encourage and empower women in their life transition from one phase to the next; Helping to nurture them physically, mentally, spiritually and emotionally. My foundation will serve as a catalyst for women in the community to not only achieve, but maintain a true sense of empowerment, ultimately helping them to achieve their personal and professional goals.

I give thanks to God for my gifts and talents and for allowing me the opportunity to bring light into the lives of others. I also give thanks to Johnathon “Tyrone” Glover for encouraging me to start this Foundation to utilize these talents working with the women in my own community. I also give special thanks to Dena Wildy, Kendra Francis-Etemikawor and all others involved in assisting me in the background with making my vision a reality for the Foundation and giving me constant words of encouragement along the way.

 POSITIVELY IMPACTING

 WOMEN IN OUR COMMUNITY!

Yvonne Thomas, President/Founder

Women need a balance of  mental health, spiritual health, emotional health and physical health. It all works together to create a healthy function within our home and our community. When women are affected negatively within their environments, our communities suffer. Our service to others helps to strengthen our community, and allows each one of us to realize our purpose in the world. The vision of the Yvonne Thomas Foundation is to work together as a team with the women in the community to help them overcome struggles, challenges and tragedies by inspiring, encouraging, educating and mentoring them collectively through workshops, guest speaking, seminars and cooking and etiquette classes.  Yvonne is passionate about her desire to assist other woman to be all that God has purposed them to be and she is on a mission to be the change she wants to see in the world, leading by example.
