Yvonne Thomas Duhon, is a native of Opelousas, La currently living in Lafayette, La. In addition to being the President and Founder of her Non-Profit Organization known as the Yvonne Thomas Foundation, she is also an International Best Selling Christian Fiction Short Story Author with two published books “Letter To My Husband” and “Letter To My Wife”.

     Yvonne is also actively involved in her community through her non-profit organization The Yvonne Thomas Foundation where she inspires, encourages and mentors other young women in the community through private session, guest speaking, seminars and cooking classes. 

      Yvonne is also the Creator and Co-Host of Author's Corner: A His & Her Perspective, a FaceBook Live talk show with Co-Host and Author Seanathan Polidore, which is a bimonthly social media platform that highlights Local Louisiana Authors with a 30 minute sit down interview and an in depth review of their book.The show is their way of giving back to their community by spotlighting homegrown heroes who may not be getting the attention they deserve. Each show features a 15 minute time slot for Q&A - Question of the Day, for all aspiring and currents authors, that discusses real issues that are dealt with in the book writing process.      Yvonne also regularly volunteers her time to support various community service events, activities and fundraisers. She is also actively involved in ministry at her church where she regularly volunteers her time in the Evangelizing Ministry, Culinary Ministry, FUEL Ministry, The Women of Hope and the Church Choir.             Yvonne is passionate about her desire to assist other woman to be all that God has purposed them to be and she is on a mission to be the change she wants to see in the world, leading by example.
